Font Friday: Baileywick

This week for Font Friday I was inspired by a wonderful Dr. Seuss quote that I absolutely love... I present to you Baileywick Festive and Baileywick Happy Grams! I was originally going to just whip something up quickly but I had way too much fun messing around with this. Anyway, I love using Baileywick for anything children related, like birth announcements or party invitations. I don't normally use the Happy Grams for illustrations but they are certainly handy in a pinch - and they're super cute!

I saw this ensemble on Pinterest yesterday and just want to climb into it immediately. This is definitely an outfit I could live in. It so comfy and classic looking. You can go wrong with a crisp white shirt and jeans. What is your classic must-have piece?

Monday Moments : No Whining

As the mother of a four year old, I am dealing with on a daily basis. I wish I could put a sign on my forehead because some days it seems to be all I say. In general I think it's a good thing for us grown-ups to remember too. While we tend not to whine to others, at times we certainly have an inner whiner that can get best of us. So... STOP WHINING.

PS. How cute is this sign Wood & Wool Stool! She has the most adorable things in her Etsy shop!

Font Friday: Nelma

Please welcome, Nelma, a lovely handset font. In case you aren't familiar with the term handset it means you have to individually set each letter. It comes to you in an .eps file, not an installable system font. But my goodness isn't this beauty of this typeface totally worth it?! Oh and did I mention you can get it for FREE. Or you can pay the talented designer, Missy Austin, who created it. I think she would like that. Why the option? Because the good folks at Lost Type Co-op made it the way! They actually give you the option to name your own price, be it $30 or $0. So awesome, right?

This week's Font Friday pick is Slab Sheriff by Match & Kerosene! I love a good slab serif and a good western typeface and this combines the two in a super fun way! Probably more suitable for larger type like posters or greeting cards, use the same way you would woodtype. Anyway, you can get it right here!
